LMEst presents its projects to Petrobras

Last Tuesday (1/28) and Wednesday (1/29) the first integration meetings took place between the Structural Mechanics Laboratory team at the Federal University of Uberlândia (LMEst / UFU) and Petrobras representatives. During the meeting, advances in research carried out in the laboratory for two projects financed by the company were discussed and presented.

The first one was the project 'Application of artificial intelligence technique in the capture of data from machines for storage of abnormalities data on servers (Edge Analytics)' coordinated by Professor Aldemir Cavalini Jr and which has researchers at the post-doctoral level, doctorate, master's and undergraduate degrees divided in the areas of artificial intelligence, rotation dynamics, software and hardware.

Those responsible for the topics of each division of the project presented their progress and projections of progress in the next three months. A prototype model of a piece developed by the laboratory was also presented.

Cavalini Jr comments on the results of the meeting: “Petrobras' interlocutors were very happy with the results. The first project showed the paths we are going to follow and some very promising results ”, says the coordinator.

We are a family owned and operated business.

The second project, entitled 'Continuous Monitoring System for Dynamic Equipment Condition - Full Wireless' and coordinated by Professor Roberto Mendes Finzi Neto, is also composed of post-doctoral, doctoral and master level researchers, who presented a prototype developed by LMEst team.

Both projects were reviewed by engineers Mechelangelo Viana Mancuzo, Raphael Timbó, Renner Guilherme Costa and Clayton Eduardo Rodrigues, representatives of Petrobras.
